The Heracles orbital deployment pod is a modular self contained defensive transport. Designed to be deployed from low orbit it hurtles through the air using its jets to slow it down at the last moment before it crashes into the ground. Although it’s not subtle it certainly allows a pair of fire teams to be deployed into a hostile environment whilst being exposed to the minimum of enemy flak. When it has landed it deploys its weapon’s turret and can be used as a defensive emplacement to defend the beachhead.
