Guild Legion (Army Deal)

Each Guild Legion is split into three Demi-Legions of three Centuri and an elite command Centuria. This deal lets you have a complete legion of ten, yes TEN big old Centuria. That is around 1500 little 6mm soldiers to paint up and slaughter your opponents with if you go all infantry.

This army deal allows you buy a complete Demi-Legion of three Centuri and even select which Centuri you want in your Demi-Legion. Buying your Centuri through the Demi-Legion is considerably cheaper than buying them separately. How much cheaper? Well... about 10% (Except for the Guild Legion Line Centuria - which is a whopping 20% off! Bargain!).

But anyway - the Centuri themselves!

Legion Assault Centuria

The Assault Centuri were originally designed for starship boarding actions but they soon proved their worth in city fights, being able to soar above the roof tops to attack the targets from above as the regular Legion Centuri stormed the ground floor. It wasn’t until the Krondal IV invasion however, that they became a mainstream addition to the Guild’s armed forces. The Khazari utilize high powered kinetic barriers that prevent fast moving projectiles from penetrating. Whilst the regular Centuri find their weapons ineffective, the Assault Centuri are able to move swiftly inside the barriers and engage from within using their pistols and assault weapons to deadly effect. The mobility the jet packs give them also makes them a much needed tactical asset on the battlefield, providing the Guild Commanders with tactical flexibility. Each Assault Centuria consists of 150 men, arranged into three squads of 50, the third squad being a training squad.

Legion Line Centuria

The Legions are built to be flexible. Each legion is comprised of nine Centuria, each infantry Centuria containing one hundred and fifty legionnaires. The Centuri train, fight and live together, forming a highly developed bond. Each Centuria comprises two squads of regulars and a squad of trainees. The trainees train with the Centuria and over time are filtered into the regular squads as casualties dictate. In times of war the entire Centuria, including all three squads will take to the field. Common legion equipment includes M3 Assault Rifles, M607 Light Repeating Lasers, M71 portable missile launcher, various grenades including Sonics, Incendiary, Smoke and Fragmentation.

Legion Myrmidon Centuria

Each Legion will often feature one Myrmidon Centuria, formed of 150 of the best of the Legions troops. They are the usually the last to be committed to battle. Forming a strategic reserve, with their heavy armour and weapons they are perfect for breaking through an enemy’s lines or holding the enemy back whilst the Legion retreats. Usually the Centuria is split up to provide heavy infantry support to the other Centuri in battle. Unlike other Centuri the Myrmidon Centuria has no training squad, just three squads of battle hardened veterans.

Legion Support Centuria

The Support Centuria is comprised of three squads of heavy weapons. The contents of these squads vary but the usual Support Centuria features the H64 Heavy Repeating Laser Platform, the M613 Heavy Laser Cannon and the M9 Howitzer. They are commonly used to defend the Legion’s base camps or to provide heavy firepower when needed to defend a choke point or strategic objective. They are often supplied with Hoplon APC’s to transport them.
