The origin of the walking dead remains shrouded in mystery. What is known is that the cause is a highly contagious disease passed on through any form of ingestion or contact with their bodily fluids. Whole worlds can be overtaken unless swift and decisive military action is taken by the defending garrisons.

Often military commanders have been engaged in combat only to realise that a far more dangerous foe is present on the battlefield when zombies wander into the warzone hunting for fresh meat.
