The Guild

The Guild has been at peace with the Empire for many years with amiable, if not friendly relations. The Guild has fully exploited the Empires need for it's services and resources, commanding a high price for it's mercenary legions. The Guild whilst previously allied with the Khazari has become embroiled in a localized war. Pharos Communications in an unprecidented and potentially bankrupting move has hired the entire mercenary army of the Baradyne Institute, along with every legion it can muster. Its military has engaged in a bloody battle with the renegade Khazari clan on Krondal IV, citing counter pirate activity as it's justification. |
The Khazari
| The Khazari are an extremely advanced civilization. Due to their low population they make extensive use of automation in all aspects of their life. They welcomed the Empire into there space after the sundering, and have been their staunch allies, especially since they share a mutual enemy in the form of the Tarragin. The recent conflict with the Guild has put relations between the humans and the Khazari at immense strain. Although the Khazari see the Krondal clan as rebels and exiles, they are loath to see any members of there race in danger and it is only a matter of time before the conflict widens in scope. |
